Formula 1 2026: Add Every Grand Prix to Your Calendar
Formula 1 in 2026 is a reset year — new power unit regulations, new car concepts, new team configurations. It's going to be one of the most interesting seasons in recent memory, and the calendar to follow it is one of the most packed: race weekends in Australia, China, Japan, Miami, Canada, Monaco, Spain, Austria, Britain, Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, Italy, Azerbaijan, Singapore, Austin, Mexico, Brazil, Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
That's a lot of timezone math. Here's how to handle it once and let your calendar do the work.
F1 Session Times Are Complicated
Unlike a single game time for most sports, each F1 race weekend has multiple sessions:
- Practice 1 and Practice 2 (Friday)
- Practice 3 (Saturday morning)
- Qualifying (Saturday afternoon)
- Race (Sunday afternoon, local time)
- For Sprint weekends: Sprint Qualifying (Friday afternoon) and Sprint (Saturday morning)
And crucially, these times vary wildly depending on the location. The Australian GP runs Sunday morning US time. Singapore runs Sunday morning ET. Las Vegas starts Saturday night US time.

Where to Watch F1 in the US (2026)

Why the New Regulations Make 2026 Worth Following
The 2026 regulations are a bigger change than 2022. New 1.6L V6 hybrid units with significantly more electrical output, active aerodynamics, and likely a reshuffling of the competitive order. Red Bull's dominance of 2023-24 almost certainly won't translate directly to 2026 — the teams that nail the new packaging first will have a significant advantage.
This is exactly the kind of season where you want to be watching qualifying as well as races — the early results will tell you a lot about the season.
