How to Add College Football to Apple Calendar

How to Add College Football to Apple Calendar

You can put an NCAA football schedule on Apple Calendar in one subscription. It syncs to iPhone, iPad, and Mac through iCloud if you add it to the right account.

That is the move if you follow Alabama, Ohio State, or a Group of Five team and you are tired of opening a separate app every Saturday.

The short version

  1. Go to College football → Apple Calendar or search your school on the builder.
  2. Start a 14-day free trial of that one team — real feed, no card.
  3. Tap Add to Apple Calendar on iPhone, or use File → New Calendar Subscription on a Mac.
  4. On a Mac, set Auto-refresh to every day. The default is weekly, which is slow when a kickoff moves.

Games show up as normal calendar events: matchup, local time, venue. When a window changes, the event updates. You do not import a new file.

One team vs the whole sport

The free trial is one team for 14 days. If you want Alabama and the SEC slate, or football plus an NFL team, that is Full Access at $47/year — one feed via a collection. Same subscription unlocks the rest. You do not re-add the calendar.

Saturday college and Sunday NFL in one place is the usual mix. That is what collections are for.

Apple-specific gotcha

Adding the feed on iPhone under Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts works. Adding a one-off .ics file does not. A file is a snapshot. Subscribe to the URL.
